A WEEKEND OF MOVIES & ROOMMATES!

This was such a relaxing weekend!! HALLELUJAH! We haven't had such a layed back weekend like this since I have been out here. On friday night, Erin, Nichole and I stayed in and watched A Lot Like Love with Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet. It is a chick-flick for sure. Oh yeah...and Erin and I attempted to home make Macaroni and Cheese (like Noodles & Company) but WE FAILED!! I would have taken a picture of it, but it was a catastrophe. Continuing on the Saturday...I woke up and ran a 19 miler for my race next weekend. It felt great, I ran from my house down to the mall and then ran around the mall 3x...kinda repetitive, I know. In the afternoon, Er and I went to Eastern Market and went to the Flea Market. It was kinda pricey, but I got some greeting cards for a steal-of-a-deal and Er got a darling photo book. After the market we were on a search for a new DVD player so we took the metro up to Target and were unsuccessful...(only because we didnt want to spend as much money on them as they wanted.) I was feeling pooped after shopping with a horrible headache...we went home and took a little break from the go-go-go attitude we were having all day. Then we had an idea......

We were on a MISSION...to rent a movie (VHS style bc of our broken DVD player)! Haha yeah I know....what's new?! We went up to Tenleytown/ AU to the Hollywood video. Something we did not know...was that they were going out of business so all of their movies were for sale. So we were for sure to find some good VHS's because who buys VHS anymore...we do!

This is us after our killer deal purchases...10 for $5.76 (They calculated to be 19 cents each, plus a DVD for $1). They threw them all in a trash bag so that we could carry them home. Dang we are good luck when we are together...WE ROCK!


In search for a DVD player up at the Target...we took a walk through the mall close by and look @ this ice cream parlor...its named after me! They even spelled my name right! :) all smiles!
